The Board of Trustees of Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas voted unanimously to install nine modular student housing units on property adjacent to campus to accommodate incoming students, according to gctelegram.com. Eight of the modular units will each house eight students, and the ninth will be for a director and laundry facilities. The goal is to have the housing ready for the spring of 2015. The purchase of the property in 2012 was marked by controversy as the residents of manufactured homes sited on the land initially refused to move, MHProNews.com has learned. Garden City is in southwest Kansas. ##
