MHProNews has learned from the Indiana Manufactured Housing Association-Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council (IMHA-RVIC) that Executive Director Mark Bowersox has resigned his position as of Sept. 5, 2015. With IMHA-RVIC for 12 years, he began as the association’s RV director, added the title of marketing director before being promoted to Executive Director Jan. 1, 2010.
Association President Ken Eckstein said, “Mark became Executive Director in 2010 when both the manufactured housing and RV industries were struggling, and our association reflected the difficulties of the industries. In Mark’s tenure, our organization has increased its membership, financial reserves and impact with lawmakers. We appreciate his efforts and we believe that IMHA-RVIC is well positioned for success moving forward.”
Bowersox is taking a position as Vice President of Industry Relations with the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) where he will be working with members and state association executives.
IMHA-RVIC has created a search committee to chose Bowersox’ replacement. Founded in 1945, IMHA-RVIC is a 501(c)(6) non-profit trade association based in Indianapolis with over 375 members representing all sectors of the MH and RV industries. ##
