Since 1997 there have been walls and rooms without roofs at the Buffalo Home Show in New York, but this year there will be a whole modular home inside the Buffalo Convention Center, according to niagara-gazette.
Glenn Drew of Stylecraft Homes, the builder of the home, said the last time his company had a real home at the show 120,000 people came through. This year, the one-bedroom, 1,000 square foot home will feature solar panels on the roof and an outdoor patio fireplace. It will be decorated by members of the Interior Design Association of Western New York, incorporating some of the latest design trends.
The home is being transported to the convention center in two sections, and will be completed on site. The home will be for sale at the show, with or without the design components. Drew tells MHProNews the basic price for the home is $70,000.
The show will run March 4-6 and the next weekend as well, March 11-13, 2016. ##
