MHProNews has learned from moosejawtimes.sk.ca in Saskatchewan, Canada, Sunflower Manor in Moose Jaw had its official grand opening June 23, the first multifamily modular housing unit in town. The nine modules, comprising six apartment units, were built in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada by Winkler Construction and then stacked to form the apartments. Deb Thorn, who founded Sunflower Developments Inc. with her two daughters, worked with the provincial and federal governments to bring this affordable housing to Moose Jaw, and anticipates she will do more modular projects. ##
