On the Big Board:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped -0.10 percent, -17.12 points, beginning the first week of the new month at 16,449.18.
The NASDAQ nudged up + 0.14 percent, +6.42 points to end at 4,620.37.
The S&P 500 slipped -0.04 percent, -0.86 points, to finish at 1,939.38.
Meanwhile, the Yahoo Manufactured Housing Composite Value (MHCV) fell -0.99 percent to finish the first day of Feb. at 1005.1. All currently traded MH-related stocks we follow closed mixed or even. Carlyle Group gained more than other tracked stocks, +3.40 percent, +0.45 points, to close at $13.68. Universal Forest Products dropped more than other tracked stocks, – 3.59 percent to close at $66.42.
