Although fewer U.S. chief executives expect hiring to decline than they did three months ago, a survey by Business Roundtable revealed the number of large firms that intend to hire workers is no different than three months ago. According to what the Associated Press tells MHProNews, 34 percent of Roundtable members in Sept. thought hiring would drop, as opposed to 29 percent who now think that. CEOs are pessimistic in general about the U.S. economy and the tax increases set for the beginning of next year, but 29 percent anticipate hiring within the next six months, the same percentage as Sept.
