The British Mace Group is entering into a deal with China Building Technique Group, Construction News tells MHProNews.
Their agreement is said to be time to ahead of the £1bn Royal Docks bid.
The Chinese firm’s website says, “China Building Technique Group Co., Ltd. (CBTGC), established in 1987, is wholly-owned and governed by China Academy of Building Research (CABR)…CBTGC has experienced the steady and rapid development and grown up into a management-oriented company in building and construction industry, which incorporates the services of general contracting, specialized contracting, planning, design, geotechnical investigation, construction supervision, research and consultancy…”
While details are still sketchy, this looks to continue a trend by industrialized Chinese builders who are doing projects in dozens of nations, including a billion dollar/5 year project launched here in the U.S. by LandSea, as previously reported at the link here.
Domestic factory builders in the U.S., and all those connected with manufactured, modular and pre-fab housing, should be planning with these Chinese initiatives in mind. ##
