The Pratt (Kansas) City Commission issued an ordinance that manufactured homes will not be allowed in the new 48-lot Sandy Creek housing subdivision, although modular homes can site there. MHProNews has learned Ordinance 0409 specifies requirements for homes in the development, and creates a new classification for residential areas, R-1A, that is more restrictive than R-1. According to pratttribune.com, accessory buildings have to match home exteriors, and metal carports, storage bins, buildings and antennas above 35-feet are prohibited. ##
