MHProNews has learned from thinkstewartville that the Stewartville, Minnesota City Council unanimously approved a conditional use permit for the expansion of Northridge Estates manufactured home community (MHC) by 71 home sites.
Owned by Sun Communities, Inc., (NYSE:SUI) the 12.75-acre land will be home to a mix of single-section and multi-section MH, and the first occupants should be moving in by next fall.
The city’s planning and zoning commission approved the plan contingent upon some minor parking issues and location of street lights, items which Robert Schmude, project manager for Sun Communities, assured the city council of its willingness to resolve all concerns.
City Clerk Cheryl Roeder said Sun has significantly improved Southern Hills and Northridge Estates MHCs by removing trees, and upgrading the swimming pool and the community center. ##
