The Sulphur Daily News from Sulphur, Louisiana, says the city council has extended by six months the ban on “the construction, location or the siting of recreational vehicles, motor homes, [pre-HUD Code] homes, trailers, manufactured houses and manufactured trailers” in town. The ordinance was originally enacted in June of 2010, but will expire this month, in this southwest corner of the state. The mayor says the city has yet to come up with a Master Plan to deal with this issue. A public hearing will be held June 27.
