As follow-up to a story MHProNews last posted May 22, 2013, the Clayton-Bradley Academy, which opened on the grounds of Clayton Homes in July, has announced plans to add four classrooms to the school which currently serves 78 tuition students. Dr. Don Bruce, chairman of the nonprofit organization Innovative Education Partnership Inc. which has partnered with Clayton, noting the favorable response, says, “The first six months have exceeded our wildest dreams. The response has been heartwarming.” The original plan was to offer one classroom for each grade, and each year add another grade until the school reached K-12. “However, the demand is so great that we plan to add a second kindergarten class and possibly another fifth grade class next year,” he added. As thedailytimes.com reports, Clayton Homes, the largest producer of manufactured and modular homes in North America, will supply the new classrooms.
