Updating an article we posted Feb. 11, 2013 regarding Clayton Homes’ teaming with teacher Patricia Bradley to open Tenn.’s first STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) school, KnoxNews says the Clayton-Bradley Academy in Maryville has hired a full staff of teachers and enrolled half of the anticipated K-6 students. Adjacent to Clayton Homes HQ, the 25-acre campus will include state-of-the-art classrooms that connect to a 8,590 square foot multipurpose room. Set to open July 19, with an enrollment limit of 140 students, the school intends to add a grade every year until it becomes K-12. As MHProNews knows, Clayton Homes is the largest producer of manufactured homes in North America.
