Birmingham, Ala., (May 10, 2016) – Clayton, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, will host its inaugural Clayton Birmingham Home Show from May 17 – 19, 2016 at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.
Clayton currently employs 2,142 team members from 10 supply operations and seven home building facilities in Alabama, and in 2015 alone, the company built 5,734 homes in the state. This is the first year that SEhomes, an Addison, Ala., based facility, will host a home show exclusively on behalf of Clayton and anticipates returning the show to Birmingham. Clayton has been an active participant in industry home shows for the past 18 years.

The city has been extremely accommodating and welcoming throughout the process, and we’re excited to witness first-hand the revival of downtown Birmingham.”
The Clayton Birmingham Home Show will showcase 27 homes from eight Clayton facilities, seven of which are located in Alabama. These facilities include Buccaneer Homes, Cavalier Homes, Clayton Series, Energy Homes, River Birch Homes, Savannah, Southern Estates, Southern Homes and TRUmh. The home show will allow Clayton’s retail partners to view and tour the 2016 line of state-of-the-art manufactured homes, their innovative products and modern amenities.

In addition to the 27 homes on display at the Clayton Birmingham Home Show, multiple customer-experience activities will be available to attendees at the Clayton Experience booth. The booth will showcase Clayton’s latest innovations and technologies within the homes, including:
- MyMobi Home Finder – an app that uses geolocation software to navigate to the nearest Clayton home for sale
- Virtual Walk-Thru Experience – a 360-degree virtual tour
- 360 Degree Home Experience – a four-sided green room in which attendees can experience a 3-D home tour
- Dream Home Designer – technology that allows customers to customize their homes to match their style
At the home show on Wednesday, May 18, Clayton will present a check for over $100,000 to Hope For The Warriors®, a non-profit organization that provides services for wounded war veterans and their families. In 2015, Clayton pledged to contribute to the non-profit for each Clayton Patriot Home built. To date, 964 Patriot Homes have been built and the company anticipates selling more in the future.
The Clayton Birmingham Home Show is a private three-day event that is exclusive to all Clayton-approved and prospective retail partners.
