A 1950’s San Angelo, Texas ordinance requiring all manufactured homes, including those for sale on a dealer’s lot, have skirting for aesthetic reasons was given an exception for licensed dealers. Clayton Homes asked for the change in the ordinance, as sanangeloLIVE.com reports, evidently after bringing a man camp onto their lot. The exception was passed by unanimous vote of the city council. MHProNews understands San Angelo is in west TX near the oil patch drilling.
