The Alabama Manufactured Housing Association has announced that Clayton Homes of Northport, Alabama, is the winner of the Association’s 2014 Best Retail Sales Center Award.

The Clayton dealership in Northport was chosen from entries submitted by manufactured home sales centers throughout Alabama. This award was created to recognize retailers who display professionalism, integrity and outstanding performance.

A panel of judges made up of past winners considered each of the following criteria for receiving this award: appearance of the retail center, signage, quality and type of advertising, and customer service. Clayton Homes of Northport received high marks in all these areas.

This sales center has been in business for 10 years and Sales Manager Bob Dawson has been in the manufactured housing industry for 45 years. Clayton Homes maintains approximately 30 homes in stock at this location for viewing. Each home is fully decorated and furnished, providing a pleasant buying environment for the customer. This center has been one of the highest achieving sales centers in the region for the past five years.

The sales team is well trained and provides extensive product knowledge and superior customer service throughout the entire sales process and after the sale. The sales center advertising and marketing includes ads in newspapers and television across Alabama, in addition to their website. ##
