The fifth annual Clayton Homes Turkey Trot for Education, a 5K run/walk or one mile fun walk will be held Nov. 24 starting at Clayton’s corporate headquarters in Maryville, Tennessee to benefit the Blount County Education Foundation (BCEF). Areas of need are prioritized in the schools, according to thedailytimes.com, and every school in Blount County benefits. Donations have already exceeded the $50,000 mark for this year, as participation has increased from 300 in 2009 to 1,200 last year. MHProNews has learned past Turkey Trots have provided dictionaries, cameras, interactive whiteboards, iPads, science lab supplies and textbooks. Clayton, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, is the largest producer of manufactured homes in  North America.
