Local publication ranks Connexion Technologies as the region’s 18th fastest growing company
Cary, North Carolina, November 10, 2010 – Connexion Technologies was honored with a Fast 50 Award from Triangle Business Journal at an awards dinner held Nov. 4 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Research Triangle Park. Connexion ranked as number eighteen on this year’s list and is profiled along with other winners in the Nov. 5 issue of Triangle Business Journal.
The annual awards recognize the 50 fastest growing private companies in the Triangle region of North Carolina and honors their entrepreneurial excellence and achievements. Other alumni of the list include Red Hat, Sciquest, Talecris, Hosted Solutions and Quintiles.
“For 18 years, the Fast 50 Awards has been the benchmark by which fast growing private companies in the Triangle judge their success,” says Charlene Grunwaldt, publisher of Triangle Business Journal. “This year’s winners are particularly impressive because in addition to a competitive landscape, these firms have overcome a challenging economy and continued to report growth in revenue and profits. These 50 companies are clearly the businesses to watch in the future.”
“To rank among so many other innovative Triangle companies is an honor in and of itself,” said Carter Teague, Connexion Technologies’ EVP of Sales and Corporate Marketing. “We’re proud to make our second appearance on the list this year.”
Connexion Technologies ranked as number twenty-nine in 2009 and believes that consistent growth will allow them to be a strong presence on the list in the future.
