In the Corporate Press Release pages of MHMSM.com, Manufactured Homes factories and suppliers can publicize the latest news form their companies at no charge.
Two questions arise:
- Is it worth the effort?
- Why don’t more manufacturers, retailers, suppliers, communities, etc. take advantage of the program?
Let’s start with “Is it worth the effort?”
In my Online Marketing business, I handle the needs of 42 clients, with 60 blogs and 72 total websites. Three of the websites* sell video tutorial sets for popular Open Source software applications.
In the past few months, traffic has been steady but flat. No big increases or decreases in month-to-month traffic and sales.
Last week, I created a Press Release and submitted it to three online Press Release services. Here is what my Google Analytics figures looked like today:
Now remember that just a few days earlier, the figures showed anywhere from down 5.14% to up by 11.8%, fairly flat. But just a few days later, the monthly figures show increases from 17.5% to 84.38% and a corresponding uptick in orders.
So, was it worth it? Absolutely!
With that in mind, I ask why don’t more manufacturers, retailers, suppliers, communities, etc. take advantage of the program?
I don’t have an answer for that. Maybe no one to write the Press Release? If that’s the issue, you can hire someone online to do them for you at a very reasonable cost. Try Elance or oDesk of post on LinkedIn to find someone to create your Press Release.
I’m no expert writer and I got an 84.38% bump in traffic and sales by creating my own. If you possess the skills to write a business letter, you can probably create a Press Release.
Do it today and reap the benefits almost immediately.
