While investors are awaiting news from the Federal Reserve’s two-day meeting, Tech stocks took a bath in trading as the Nasdaq fell over one percent, while the Dow and the S&P 500 moved very little. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added +43.63 points, + 0.26 percent, to close at 17,031.41, while the S&P edged down -1.41 points, -0.07 percent, to end the day at 1,984.13. CNNMoney informs MHProNews that tech stocks Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Yelp all fell between four and six percent, pulling the Nasdaq down -48.70 points, -1.07 percent, to end the first day of the week at 4,518.90. The Manufactured Housing Composite nudged down for the third straight day, -0.84 percent to 583.00. Most tracked housing stocks fell, although Deer Valley Homes skyrocketed +33.80 percent, +0.24 points, to end the day at $0.95, while Skyline Corp. fell -9.75 percent, -0.27 points, to close at $2.50, having fallen over ten percent within the last five days.
