If we are candid with ourselves, we have all been mistaken or ‘fooled’ at various times in our lives. Manipulation is nearly as old as the proverbial hills and the following is apparent evidence for that observation. The saying “Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me” was first used by politician Anthony Weldon in 1650 1234 in his book “The Court and Character of King James” to describe the court of King James234. Those who voted for former Senators Kamala Harris (D) or Joe Biden (D) before her, or for former Governor George W. Bush (R) or the late Senator John McCain (R) before them should ask themselves this question. As a marginally free people, were we misled, duped or manipulated by a combination of factors? Hold that thought as we explore in this facts-evidence and analysis what Joe Biden (D) has been doing on his way to the announced exit from the White House.

For those who have been following this writer’s wide-ranging series of topics and articles on the Patch, some of that isn’t new, but some is shared for the first time on MHProNews above. On the Patch, we look at a wide array of topics from entertainment, education, economic, spiritual, housing, political, social, legal – with almost no holds barred. But specifically about the Kamala Harris (D) campaign there were these recent items, plus one that was more manufactured housing focused. That series is catching attention. The traffic here at MHProNews is up too.
Those who say that the mainstream, corporate, or legacy media has become irrelevant are exaggerating, of course. If they truly were irrelevant, then they wouldn’t exist. Companies pay hundreds of millions, in some cases, to sustain those operations which may or may not be money makers. There is an ongoing battle underway for the future of America and it has been a struggle that was evident to some well before Warren Buffett uttered these words over 17- and 13-years ago.
Depending on who you were and what sources you had access to well over a century ago there were already public discussions on who was actually running America and for what purposes.
Mass media has long been used to manipulate or control people. That control could often be accomplished by something as simple as ‘divide and conquer’ or sometimes referred to as ‘divide and rule.’ Misinformation is real. But those who cry about misinformation may in many cases be using misinformation themselves. That is why MHProNews has invested so much time and energy revealing to our readers how the system operates and the kinds of word games and manipulative tools that have been used for decades or even centuries.
If you as a reader are involved in manufactured housing, you may well be working for either some corporate/consolidating interest or you may be working for an independent. Manufactured housing is in its purest form a noble and good profession. Unfortunately, manufactured housing can be turned on its head by those who could care less about the public interest just so long as they are building a Bigger and Badder Moat. And those who are in the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) orbit of blogging or trade publishing aren’t sharing anything like these reports with their readers, are they? No. Why? Because doing so might upset their sponsors and dominating members apple cart. The name of the game for them is consolidation, oligopoly style. It is plain enough for those willing to take a clear-eyed look.
But let’s pivot back to the headline topic of the political campaign that just concluded. Not unlike Joseph Keppler’ Bosses of the Senate political cartoon published 1.23.1889, posted above and shown again here below as part of that featured image for a new article on MHProNews, our public institutions are routinely failing the American public. In this writer’s series on the Patch, we toss a much broader net of topics. Here on MHProNews, the focus is still manufactured housing, but we weave into those articles some historic insights that help readers connect to the broader realities that are keeping manufactured housing underperforming during an obvious affordable housing crisis.
For those who have voted Democratic most of your life, or those who have done so in say the last 20 years (+/-), an evidence-based case can be made that some legitimate issues are dangled in front of their voters to attract them, but the delivery on those promised issues are routinely lacking. The CEO of UnitedHealthcare was gunned down recently, as most readers doubtlessly have heard or seen. What too few have said is that ObamaCare was supposed to have ‘fixed’ our healthcare system. Joe Biden (D) was supposedly improving on ObamaCare. If the Democrats have done such a good job with healthcare, or housing, or inflation, or the border, or foreign affairs, or job creation, then why is it that so many things have routinely become progressively worse during their terms in office? That is only possible because the big corporate legacy media still does have influence and because big tech still has plenty of sway over the public’s attention. MHProNews exposed those kinds of subjects to our readers years ago, for example, in the 2018 report linked below which features a video that is as relevant today as it was then.
But if you want to see our updated look at that same topic and video with some different bells and whistles, see the one linked below.
MHProNews began this year with the article linked below. That article with award-winning docudrama will remain relevant so long as people are being ‘fooled’ by various forms of manipulation. Part of that manipulation is arguably being promoted by MHI-linked bloggers and publishers as well as by MHI itself.
To those who are willing to look at the details it is difficult to deny with evidence the obvious reality that Wilsonian Democracy by “experts” has worked as advertised. It hasn’t.
Manufactured housing specific examples are linked herein, above and below, but more will be forthcoming. But just keep the obvious in mind. The industry was successful in getting legislation enacted into law in 2000 and 2008. The Manufactured Housing Improvement Act of 2000 (a.k.a.: MHIA 2000, MHIA, 2000 Reform Act, 2000 Reform Law, etc.) is still not properly implemented. The Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 (HERA) with its Duty to Serve (DTS) manufactured housing provision has been federal law for over 16 years. One thing that both MHI and the Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR) seem to agree upon is that those laws are not fully and properly implemented. But MHI continued to praise Biden-Harris era housing plans that didn’t include the full and proper implementation of those two laws. MHI was more involved, so it seems, with watching as the industry continues to consolidate. Meanwhile, instead of MHI working with MHARR to get those laws fully enforced – as they did when those laws were enacted, MHI instead has openly pivoted to embrace the views of conventional housing linked trade associations. It is madness on its face, IF MHI is sincere about trying to get those ‘two good laws’ enforced. The apparent conclusion is that they aren’t serious about it at all because their actual goal, if unstated, is consolidation. But their publicly traded members often openly stated in their various published remarks how high a priority consolidation is for them. Are thinking people to believe that what various MHI members say similarly in their published investor pitches doesn’t influence the board members of those same companies that are running MHI?
The irony is that the status quo may not be the best for investors either.
Individuals and organizations alike need truth and reality to guide them properly. In a largely secular society, people may not be as open about the guiding light made possible from the eternal truths that are found in faith. Centuries before modern communications, and manipulation, the ancients knew that people are and would be manipulated by falsehoods, including half-truths or what is today called paltering. Some shy away from faith because of something deeply personal in their lives. But that is a mistaken notion. God knew humans would error and God is a God of second (and third, fourth, fifth, etc.) chances.
Let’s be clear. Former and future President Donald J. Trump (R) is not the Second Coming. The electoral success of the Trump-Vance (R) ticket and over two hundred largely aligned lawmakers was arguably a positive step. But Trump himself, to his credit, has said that he thanks God for his life being spared in two known and apparent assassination attempts. Trump isn’t a saint. His proposed cabinet has some interesting and colorful personalities that if they do what they say may yield positive changes. But this is a start of a process, not a conclusion, as those steps taken by Joe Biden’s regime in the post-election phase are making clear. Democrats and RINO (a.k.a. “Establishment” Republicans like Senator Mitch McConnell (KY-R), or former Representatives Liz (and her dad Dick) Cheney (WY-R), or Adam Kinzinger (IL-R) are going to do whatever they think they can to trip the Trump agenda up and then, of course, they will blame Trump for any failures. That’s how the game is played by Establishment Democrats and Establishment Republicans. Why? Because, as MHProNews reported weeks before the election, Wall Street thought that Trump would get enacted and implement policies that would benefit the working and middle class while cutting into their bottom lines.
The uber wealthy are not per se evil because of their wealth or power or influence. Money and influence are morally neutral. It is how that money, power, and influence is used that is either good or bad, right or wrong. What ought to be increasingly obvious to those who are longer term readers of MHProNews is that if the powerful thought they could get what they wanted by being honest, they would have used the plain truth decades ago. The lessons of Charade are as apt today as they were when that classic movie debuted decades ago.
Programming notice: some special reports are pending. Watch for them.
Headline notice to the ladies. According to recent Mailchimp data, women are opening emails from MHProNews at about 1/3 of the pace as men do. That may be due to the fact that more men are signed up than women. To sign up for our popular email, go to this link here and input your email address.
Implied notice to men (and women). Our popular emails and industry-leading audience of readers run the gamut of public officials at the local-state-federal levels. Owners, investors, and managers from public and private companies involved in manufactured housing abound. Those who are critiqued by this publication are regular readers but so too are those in the MHARR orbit as well as those who are not affiliated with any trade association. As the saying goes, ‘Inquiring minds want to know.’ Left-leaning Google’s AI powered Gemini said on this date the following.
“Inquiring minds want to know” is an idiom that means people are curious and eager to learn, essentially asking for information about something that might be unknown or interesting to them; it’s a playful way of saying “tell us the details” or “we want to know the scoop.”
People want ‘the scoop.’ Even those who may hate what we publish are readers, why? Because “people are curious and eager to learn, essentially asking for information about something that might be unknown or interesting to them…”
Manufactured housing is underperforming during an affordable housing crisis. The corporate and association leaders in the MHI orbit aren’t idiots. They are education, seasoned professionals. It should therefore be obvious that the status quo, regardless of what they may say, is desired or preferred, at least at this time. Something similar may be said about public officials. They surely know how to implement the laws that if properly applied would cause manufactured housing to boom. For whatever reasons, they are not doing so. So, it is not just about left vs. right. It isn’t just about Democrats vs. Republicans. It isn’t just about the wealthy and big corporations vs. everyone else. It is rather about what is true, honest, and good vs. what is less than those ideals. We should strive for the best options we can get in our life. We should challenge as best we can whatever doesn’t fit. As the ancients used to say, Ora et Labora.
Anyone who thinks that public officials always tell us the truth is not paying close enough attention.
If the Pentagon truly has no clue who’s flying massive drones over New Jersey neighborhoods and military bases, the level of incompetence is staggering. Either they know and won’t say—or they’ve lost control of the skies. Neither is acceptable.
