As MHProNews reported Dec. 21, 2015, professional services firm Dewberry assisted with the siting of manufactured homes for the Oglala Sioux tribe on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, marking the first presidential disaster declaration made directly to an Indian tribe.
From directionsmag, MHProNews has learned Dewberry has received a six months contract extension with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as managing partner of the Partnership for Temporary Housing (PaTH), LLC, along with Parsons Corp. and Dyncorp International. This extension brings the contract to one full year.
PaTH provides individual assistance to disaster victims in FEMA Regions VIII, IX, and X, responding rapidly to catastrophic events with management professionals, planning staff and teams to support temporary housing installations.
PaTH is continuing to install manufactured homes at Pine Ridge where extensive flooding devastated many homes in May, 2015.
Based in Fairfax, VA, Dewberry began win 1956 and currently has 40 locations and over 2,000 professionals nationwide. ##
