There are not many adults who doubt that America is highly divided today.
It’s not a coincidence.
This week’s Masthead looked at an insightful quote from former President Barack Obama. Per the Hill, “Former President Obama said in an interview that Fox News viewers and NPR listeners are living on different planets in terms of what news they consume.
“If you watch Fox News, you are living on a different planet than you are if you, you know, listen to NPR,” Obama told David Letterman…The former president was referring to how the Russians were able to “exploit” different kinds of U.S. voters, who were “operating in completely different universes.”

Facts simply are. Mature adults have to learn how to spot propaganda and the tools of manipulation.
Whining about the problem solves nothing.
It will require sustained engagement in reality for this issue to be changed.
This is a serious issue for manufactured housing, which is widely misunderstood. Our industry’s professionals need to engage with reality where it is lacking, and then learn how to communicate reality more with others.
