The Daily Times of Blount County, Tennessee, reports Clayton Building Solutions, a division of Clayton Homes, walked away with three very impressive awards from the Manufactured Housing Institute’s (MHI) Congress & Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing in Las Vegas, April 28. The Fort Sam Houston project in San Antonio, Texas, a four-story tall modular building with 600 apartments for U.S. Army personnel, received the Judge’s choice award, one of the top honors of the Congress. One of the largest modular housing units on U.S. Army soil, the five-unit 250,000 square feet of barracks will house 3,000 people. The second award is in the Education category for the same San Antonio base. The third is their Fort Hood project in Texas, which received honorable mention for institutional modular design. Clayton Homes has been honored seven times in the last ten years.
