Washington, D.C., May 4, 2015 – The Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR) reports that according to official statistics compiled on behalf of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), manufactured housing industry production growth continued to strengthen during March 2015.  Just-released statistics indicate that HUD Code manufacturers produced 5,602 homes in March 2015, a 14.3% increase over the 4,899 HUD Code homes produced during March 2014.  March 2015 thus becomes the fourth consecutive month to see double-digit production growth on a percentage basis over the same period a year ago.  Cumulative industry production for 2015 now totals 15,324 homes, a 12.1% increase over the 13,665 HUD Code homes produced over the same period in 2014.
