MHProNews notes from the outset on this controversial topic that quoting someone is not to be construed as endorsing all that they’ve ever said or done. That said, one should set the stage for the video interview and briefing that follows below on the topic of ‘Understanding Today’s Hybrid War’ Psychological Warfare Precedes Financial Warfare in Battle for Personal Liberty.’ Some background of the two holding the video discussion is warranted. “Maajid Usman Nawaz (Urdu: [ˈmaːdʒɪd̪ nəwaːz]; born 2 November 1977)[1] is a British activist and radio presenter. He was the founding chairman of Quilliam, a counter-extremism think tank that sought to challenge the narratives of Islamist extremists and, until January 2022, was the host of an LBC radio show on Saturdays and Sundays,” according to left-leaning Wikipedia. “Born in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, to a British Pakistani family, Nawaz is a former member of the Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir, an association that led to his December 2001 arrest in Egypt, where he remained imprisoned until 2006.” According to a bio on the ‘Ted Talks’ claim to fame Ted site, “Maajid Nawaz works to promote conversation, tolerance and democracy in Muslim and non-Muslim communities.” For millions, not including this author, Joe Rogan is a routine staple of their daily diet of digital downloads. There was a recent push to de-platform Rogan from Spotify, citing past problematic statements but more likely due to his controversial interviews with subjects on topics that creates unease among political and corporate so-called ‘insiders.’ It is the lengthy conversation between these two which is drilled down by equally controversial Dr. Joseph Mercola, who along with lifelong Democrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr, has been near or at the top of the Biden White House’s list of voices that merit being silenced.

STORY AT-A-GLANCE
- In an interview with Joe Rogan, Maajid Nawaz, a former Islamist revolutionary who became an anti-extremism activist, discusses the manufacturing of consent around things that aren’t true
- Nawaz believes we’re in a hybrid war where information is the primary weapon
- Relativism, the idea that truth is relative and personally subjective, is dangerous because without objective truth, there’s no objective reality, and without objective reality, whoever has the power gets to dictate reality. In the end, you end up with authoritarianism
- The reason why government leaders have repeatedly shifted the goal post and then played with our memories of what they promised is to disorient and confuse people to the point that they don’t have the strength to question government
- Another control mechanism will be the implementation of programmable central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) — digital cash that can be programmed so that it can only be spent on goods or services that an employer or government agrees with or deems sensible
In the video above, podcaster Joe Rogan interviews Maajid Nawaz, author of “Radical,” a former Islamist revolutionary who eventually became an anti-extremism activist. This is another three-hour-long interview. If you want, you can skip the first hour as it gets more applicable to current day issues after the first hour.
Nawaz’s past experience with recruiting extremists to infiltrate and overthrow Western governments helped him to more clearly recognize the psychological mind games waged against the civilian public during the COVID pandemic. He’s basically spent much of his later life opposing “the manufacturing of consent around something that isn’t true.”
According to Nawaz, we’re in a “hybrid war.” It’s basically an information war, because the primary weapon is information, and whoever gets to define reality with their narrative wins.
He explains how, when recruiting extremists for your cause, you first have to dismantle and destroy their current view of the world. After that, you can then indoctrinate them with your view of the world.
Big Tech obviously plays a crucial role in this war, as they have the technology and the algorithms to influence, manipulate and mold people’s minds by deciding what narratives they’re allowed to see. Social media platforms can easily make it appear as though a minority, fringe position is actually backed by a majority.
Ironically, as Rogan points out, the people who are being brainwashed are in many cases fiercely defending the right of these companies to mold and manipulate them. They support the censorship, they support cancel culture, seemingly not understanding the impact it’s having on their view and understanding of reality and the world at large.
Power Grabs Through ‘Emergency Powers’
One answer to how we got to where we are today is that governments have invoked emergency powers, and those emergency powers often end up becoming permanent. That’s why they were invoked in the first place.
As explained by Nawaz, “emergencies are always used by the state for power grabs.” Once they’ve been able to expand a power under the banner of a national emergency, they keep it. They don’t roll it back. So, when, in 2020, the COVID pandemic was used to suspend human rights, Nawaz knew we were on a slippery slope.
And, as he feared, we’re now experiencing a very radical shift in our social contract with the state. Before the pandemic, the social contract, the generally accepted modus operandi, was that everyone has the right to bodily autonomy. While it’s good to donate blood, for example, you are not required to do so — even if someone’s life hangs in the balance.
No one can demand that you donate a kidney because you have two functioning kidneys and someone else needs one. You have the right to keep both of your kidneys, even if it means the other person dies for lack of organ donation.
Also, if someone is vulnerable to illness due to preexisting conditions, that person has always been expected to take their own precautions. If you have a peanut allergy, you make sure you don’t eat anything with peanuts, for example, and others are encouraged, but not mandated or required, to make accommodations for and be considerate of those who are vulnerable.
What we have never done, Nawaz notes, is make other people responsible for our comorbidities and preexisting conditions and force them to submit to a medical intervention that could harm or kill them in order to improve our chances of survival.
A Radical Shift in Our Social Contract
If the state is going to tell us that we must get vaccinated because it is our duty to protect other people, then that is a very deep and radical shift of our social contract.
So much so, Nawaz argues, that it should require serious public dialogue followed by a democratic mandate. But that’s not happening. We’re now told that we must surrender our bodily autonomy for the common good. If you disagree, you’re simply canceled and eliminated from the public forum.
While not specifically discussed in this interview, this new social contract, sprung on us during the COVID crisis, is actually part and parcel of The Great Reset.1 The surrendering of individual rights — some for now, but eventually all of them — is the “new social contract” that Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum has envisioned and is pushing out to the world through his installed leaders.
As noted by Nawaz, at the end of the day, it comes down to what kind of society, what kind of world, we want to live in, and “We can’t go from democracy to a ‘papers please’ society … without having any consultation with the public on this,” he says. We need to have a “proper conversation about how this will permanently change the structure of our society.”
The fundamental problem here is that we’re told we must simply trust that the government knows what’s best and always acts in our best interest. Yet we know the state can get things very wrong indeed. In the interview, Nawaz recounts many examples where governments lied and acted against the best interest of their people.
The same goes for Big Pharma. We’re told to trust their products, their science and that they’re working to protect our health, always. Yet for those of us who know the criminal history of some of these drug companies, that’s a tall order.
As noted by Nawaz, the largest criminal fine in history was levied against Pfizer. They have a very long rap sheet, yet we’re to take their experimental gene transfer product on faith alone. Moreover, we’re told to ignore all the data that suggests Pfizer is not, in fact, being entirely honest about the benefits and risks of their product.
When There’s No Truth, Power Gets to Define Reality
One of the primary ways debate is shut down is by throwing labels at people. It doesn’t matter whether they’re factually correct or not. Nawaz has been called an “anti-vaxxer” for questioning vaccine mandates, yet he’s double jabbed. He’s been called an “anti-Muslim extremist,” despite spending four years in prison for his Muslim extremism.
“But there’s a deeper point here,” Nawaz says. For many years, we’ve been shifting into relativism, this idea that truth is relative, that it’s subjective and based on your personal experience. Your truth doesn’t have to be what my truth is. You decide what your truth is and there’s no such thing as “reality.”
When there’s no such thing as truth, you can’t define reality. And when you can’t define reality, the only thing that matters is power … because power gets to define reality. Power steps into that void when reason no longer exists. ~ Maajid Nawaz
This, Nawaz argues, has had devastating consequences because without objective truth, there’s no objective reality, and without objective reality, whomever has the power gets to dictate what reality is — because you have no way to determine whether that power is telling the truth or not. In the end, you end up with authoritarianism.
“When you promote the idea that there is no such thing as truth, and when you shut down debate that is seeking truth — not that it claims truth but it’s seeking it — in aid of this idea that truth is relative … what happens when you do that?
When there’s no such thing as truth, you can’t define reality. And when you can’t define reality, the only thing that matters is power … because power gets to define reality,” he says. “Power steps into that void when reason no longer exists, and defines reality for you, from up above.”
Psychological Warfare
You can see then, how and why information is the most powerful weapon in this fight for power. As noted by Nawaz, most people work full-time jobs and have families and simply don’t have the time to do the research required to discern the truth.
Instead, they turn to trusted voices in the media to give them their best interpretation of what the truth and reality is. The problem we now have is that the media are peddling the narratives of those trying to get more power. And without truthful information, it becomes difficult to define reality, which makes it difficult to challenge government.
This is also why leaders have repeatedly shifted the goal post and then played with our memories of what they promised. The goal is to disorient and confuse people to the point that they don’t have the strength to question their government. This is psychological warfare.
The harsh reality that everyone must face now is that once rights have been taken from you, government never voluntarily gives them back. The only option people have is to TAKE their rights back through peaceful activism.
Coming Next: Financial Warfare
Nawaz and Rogan also discuss how the global cabal is planning to control the world population through the use of programmable central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).
Programmable currency is digital cash that can be programmed such that it can only be spent on certain goods or services that an employer or government deem sensible.2 In other words, the issuer of the money can control how the recipient spends it. With that, the issuer would have near-total control over your behavior.
As noted by Nawaz, with a programmable CBDC, government would have complete control over anyone who disagrees with their policies or activities. If someone expresses dissent, the government could simply restrict how they can use their money, or shut down their bank account altogether.
For example, if the government didn’t want Nawaz to appear on Rogan’s show, they could simply reprogram his CBDCs with the click of a button, such that he would not be allowed to purchase a plane ticket.
What the globalists are now fighting to implement is a platform that will give them complete control over people — something that will tie everything in your life together in one central spot, such as your employment records, medical records, financial records and more.
This is why they’re fighting so hard for vaccine passports, even though it’s clear that they are completely irrational. What good is a vaccine passport when the “vaccine” doesn’t prevent infection or spread?
Some nations are now scrapping the vaccine passports and shifting to digital IDs instead. It’s important to realize that digital IDs serve the same exact purpose as the vaccine passport, so the fight for freedom is far from over, even if your government has publicly said no to vaccine passports. As explained by Nawaz, we’re also seeing evidence of a digital credit score being set into place.
Global Leadership Has Been Infiltrated
Nawaz also discusses how governments around the world have been infiltrated by World Economic Forum (WEF) members whose agenda it is to implement global authoritarianism, using the psychological, information war techniques summarized above.
As noted by Nawaz, Schwab has worked on “embedding people in government who are subscribed to The Great Reset agenda,” and in his 2020 book, “COVID-19: The Great Reset,” Schwab openly argues that the COVID-19 response should be used to “revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions.”
The WEF has also clearly articulated3 its interest in developing a global digital ID system. So, what we can look forward to is a never-ending process where the goal post keeps moving toward more and more authoritarianism. And they’ve told us this, openly, Nawaz says. All we need to do is believe them.
Due to the vast scope of this interview, I really encourage you to listen to it in its entirety. If you don’t have much time then just skip the first hour. ##

Additional Information, more MHProNews Analysis and Focused Commentary
In no specific order of importance are the following items that buttress the presentation by Mercola on author and think-tank leader Maajid Usman Nawaz’s and Rogan’s discussion thesis.
- 1) Peter Schweitzer’s “The Creepy Line” video documentary. This 2018 video documented as well as predicted what could follow from the power that big tech and specific social media giants have in terms of influencing public opinion in political and other matters. The first video is a teaser, but further below the second video with the same still screen is the ‘full length’ video documentary.
- 2) Congressional hearings have been held on material related to the contentions advanced by those in Schweitzer’s “The Creepy Line” video documentary identified. One of those better-known figures is Dr. Robert Epstein, Ph.D. Epstein has established sophisticated software that can capture search results in specific situations to see how a big tech platform may have altered their outcomes by modifying an search algorithm.
- 3) The World Economic Forum or WEF has their own website, linked here. While some of the above sounds ‘conspiratorial,’ it simply happens to have evidence that documents the claim beyond what Mercola cited. The WEF, for instance, published a video promoting “The Great Reset,” which is billed by its backers under this slogan: “you will own nothing and you will be happy world economic forum.” Reuters, for instance, in a “fact check” says: “False. The World Economic Forum does not have a stated goal to have people ‘own nothing and be happy’ by 2030.” But scrutinized, that Reuters statement is at best wordplay, at worst it is badly mistaken. To deny that the WEF has pitched that very slogan (regardless of a deadline or goal) is to deny this screen shot from the WEF’s own video. The thrust of the video is to convince the viewers that they are better of owning nothing. Owning nothing is implies you will be renting…’everything.’ It is a different term for some peoples vision for ‘socialism.’ The tweet below includes a tweet by the WEF that uses that same still. In what sense can Reuter’s ‘fact checker’ be correct, when the WEF created that slogan and the WEF’s own tweet pitches that notion from their own video?
4) While MHProNews doesn’t control Twitter and what they may or may not later remove as a tweet for whatever reason(s), the following tweet asked the right question. “Cui bono?” Who benefits if this slogan were to be implemented? Would people freely give up their own possessions unless they were first gaslighted or propagandized into believing that it was somehow for their own good? Note as a disclaimer that posting a tweet or any other quoted comment is not to be construed as an endorsement of all that the person or organization quoted ever did or said. Note: in several of the reports we’ve published, videos one available on YouTube have since been made difficult to find and/or have been removed.
The Roman statesman, orator and writer Cicero once wrote “Cui Bono?”
It meant: “to whose benefit?”.
Below is a slide from World Economic Forum a few months back.
When the biggest economic power brokers say “you’ll own nothing and be happy”, are we wrong to ask, “Cui bono?” pic.twitter.com/HPyDBKBFy7

- 5) To the point of those who rely on so-called fact checkers, the New York Post and others in media aptly reported on December 13, 2021 that “Amazingly, their [Facebook’s] lawyers now claim that Facebook’s “fact-checks” are merely “opinion” and therefore immune from defamation.” But even prior to that revelation from Facebook via their attorneys, others pointed out the ‘follow the money’ relationship between Facebook – or by extension, others in social media, big tech, etc. – who rely on fact-checkers who often receive funding directly from Facebook or other like groups.
- 6) That elaborate deceptions have been orchestrated in plain sight is a well-documented 21st century phenomenon. It has occurred on a bi-partisan basis. For instance, former President of the United States (POTUS) George W. Bush (43rd president-R) and his team established a narrative about ‘weapons of mass destruction’ post 9.11.2001. On the other hand, POTUS Barack H. Obama (44th president-D) made the claim, as did his then Vice President Joe Biden (D) that his was a scandal free administration. Pardon me? What about the massive Solyndra scandal? What about IRS targeting of mostly conservative groups that sought 501-c3 nonprofit status? As left-leaning NPR said on 10.27.2017: “IRS Apologizes For Aggressive Scrutiny Of Conservative Groups.” But for millions who bought the initial deluge of denials, names like Lois Lerner has faded into the memory hole as neatly as George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984suggested decades before could be done. Recall that Orwell was a disillusion socialist.
- 7) But just because someone lied or gaslighted others on this or that topic doesn’t mean that they are guilty of doing so all the time. This is the nefarious side of paltering. The truth can be told, but some relevant detail(s) may be left out. Ironically, Wikipedia (perhaps unintentionally) is telling a half-truth in their definition below.
- 8) For the roughly 1/3rd of the planet that holds to some belief in the Jewish and Christian Scriptures, the first example of paltering is from devilish serpent (Satan) in the Garden of Eden in the book of Genesis. Genesis 3:4 “But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not die;” (BibleHub) New Revised Standard Version (NRSV). The account goes on to say Eve ate, gave it to Adam. The serpent (snake, devil) was correct in a very limited sense: their bodies did not immediately But prior to the ‘fall of humanity’ in that ‘original sin’ in the Garden of Eden, woman and man would not have died a physical death. Even now, per Christian belief, the soul is immortal. The soul never dies. But the body does die. And the soul, per numerous religions, can be ‘cast’ or sentenced for eternity into hell upon death.
- 9) This gets to a different but entirely relevant topic which will be briefly dealt with. An increasingly large part of society has adopted the worldview that truth and knowledge are ‘relative.’ Relativism, the intellectual principle behind that worldview is a quickly self-defeating claim. Someone who asserts that ‘your truth is not my truth,’ may also complain moments later when someone threatens to take something that is theirs. Or they may complaint about some other injustice. But if truth is relative, then what is just or unjust? Truth is universal for all, like the truth or not. That noted, taste is subjective, so there are objective truths – universal for all. There are subjective truths, matters of taste or transitory opinion. Today, I may ‘hate’ some food or drink. But later, trying that same item again, I may find that I now ‘love’ it. That’s subjective truth, which may be transitory and is not universal.
- 10) These principles raised by Mercola’s highlighting of the discussion between Rogan and Nawaz are entirely relevant for society at large, and manufactured housing more specifically. In our profession, for instance, there are those who manufacturing a ‘narrative.’ By creating a kind of ‘echo chamber’ of others that may hold to the same talking points, an illusion is created. But that is nothing more than a con-game carried out in public view. It was aptly illustrated years ago by the classic grifter drama with comedic elements, The Sting. If POTUS Bush (43-R) and Obama (44-D) can create an illusion for millions, why is it so difficult to imagine that a more modest illusion can be established for a smaller subset of the population? Obviously such an effort to gaslight or create a fabricated illusion can, has, and arguably is being done. More serious than the fictional “The Sting” is the ever-relevant documentary, “The Shadows of Liberty.” It clearly illustrates similar points to what Schweitzer’s “The Creepy Line” video documentary identified.
The Sting
The Shadows of Liberty
- 11) To Rogan’s and Nawaz’s contention about information warfare preceding financial war on the citizens of one’s own country, numerous historic examples are available. Only one will be used, because it is rather famous and is being applied by thinkers such as former Washington, D.C. CNN reporter turned satirical talk radio host Chris Plante. It’s the Reichstag fire. As the Smithsonian Magazine relates in “The True Story of the Reichstag Fire and the Nazi Rise to Power” (2.21.2017) “When the German parliamentary building went up in flames, [National Socialist – Nazi – party leader Adolf] Hitler harnessed the incident to seize power.” “On 27 February 1933, as the campaign moved into its final, frantic days, the Reichstag, the German Parliament building, was set on fire and burnt down,” says the Holocaust Explained.
- 12). History.co.UK says in “THE TRUTH ABOUT ‘FALSE FLAGS’ FROM NAZI GERMANY TO THE VIETNAM WAR” that “On the night of the 31st of August 1939, several covert Nazi operatives dressed as Polish soldiers stormed the Gleiwitz radio tower on the Germany-Poland border. They broadcast a short anti-German message in Polish before leaving. The soldiers left behind the bodies of a pro-Polish German farmer and several unidentifiable Dachau concentration camp prisoners. The farmer and the prisoners had been murdered and dressed up in German uniforms. The attack was part of a series of covert actions along the Polish border that the Nazis would use to justify Germany’s attack on Poland the following day. Gleiwitz was a classic ‘false flag’ operation.”
- 13). This notion of a false flag and hybrid information warfare is arguably being played out in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. A pretext was created inside Ukraine that was used by Russian leader Vladmir Putin to invade the smaller neighboring country. To the point of false flags from Nazi Germany to the Vietnam War, MHProNews has previously documented how a misleading narrative was created to excuse the U.S. buildup of the conflict in Vietnam during the term of President Lyndon Banes Johnson (LBJ-D). If a false flag was created to justify Bush’s invasion of Iraq, or Obama’s entry into Libya, why would it be difficult to imagine that other misleading events have occurred in U.S. history?
Indeed, there are a trail of such events claimed by serious historians.
- The attack on the U.S.S. Maine in Havana, Cuba on February 15, 1898, led to the Spanish-American war. But the cause of that explosion that sank the Maine, while formally blamed on Spain, was far from certain.
- The sinking of the Lusitania by German submarines in World War I led to the U.S. entry into the First World War (WWI). That the German’s sunk the Lusitania is not in doubt, but what is questioned is why munitions were being carried to Britain from the U.S. after Germany formally warned the U.S. that doing so wasn’t a neutral act and risked the sinking of those vessels.
- The U.S. entry into World War II was caused by the ‘surprise’ attack on Pearl Harbor by Japanese naval-air forces. But there are serious historians that assert with evidence that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (D) knew the Japanese were coming and that the base was not properly warned and thus allowed to defend itself more properly.
- The Gulf of Tonkin incident was used as the pretext by LBJ to expand the Vietnam War. But that too was perhaps fabricated and was thus a handy excuse used to enter a war that many in the U.S. did not want.
- POTUS Dwight D. Eisenhower (R) warned the public against the power and influence of the military industrial complex in his farewell address. True enough. But as UK aptly notes, “THE UNITED STATES AND GREAT BRITAIN JOINTLY ORGANIZED FALSE FLAG OPERATIONS DURING THE 1953 IRANIAN COUP.” Agree or disagree with the motivations behind the coup, that the spy agencies for the U.S. and Britain colluded to arrange a change of government in Iran has become more widely agreed upon among historians. Put differently, Ike used the CIA, just as Kennedy – who also distrusted the CIA – did. The ‘intelligence services’ of the U.S. and England have been effectively used against not only other nations, but also on their own citizens.
- So why is it difficult for some to imagine that the January 6 “insurrection” was also an orchestrated event, when it has become more widely known that non-Trump supporters had infiltrated the crowd that breached the U.S. Capitol? Why did over a year was there no charge of “insurrection” was filed, as CBS News reported on 1.5,.2022? Yes, there are hundreds of misdeeds which those involved in should or have paid some penalty for, but they were not charged with ‘insurrection.’ Rather, in the light of the above examples, what at a minimum becomes a possibility is that “J6” and “insurrection” have become talking points for anti-Trump forces to deploy to discourage at least some of his supporters while also rallying the anti-Trump members of society. But that begs a question: why is Trump so feared and loathed by numbers of the national corporate elites and his well-financed opponents?
- During the 2016 Presidential Primary Campaigns, GOP Senators Marco Rubio (FL-R) and Ted Cruz (TX-R) went after then candidate Donald Trump with a vengeance. Vengeance on whose behalf? What this romp through history reflects in part is the there have been Democratic and Republican examples of so-called ‘Establishment’ politicians. There have also been populists on the political left and right which at least feigned opposition to the status quo. There are those who have routinely benefited connected and powerful elites in business and finance. These in turn swap favors with politicians, who return the favor through regulatory, legislative, contracts, and other means.
“He’s not a perfect man, and I love the way he expresses himself…and some people don’t like that. But it blew my mind last night—and I was weeping like a baby—when he said: Jesus Christ is the boss.”
- Is that mere fantasy? Hardly, when one of those elites well known in manufactured housing circles has made that statement openly himself. That would be one Warren Buffett. Consider these pull quotes that follow.
MHProNews has periodically reminded readers that the financial-economic (and thus, political) upheaval of 2008 in housing and other markets was predicted in advance by voices in various political parties. It was also denounced before the meltdown occurred by defenders of the various financial ploys that caused the meltdown in the first place. Note that YouTube has apparently made this video posted below increasingly more difficult to find. It was once a highly ranked video for the search terms – with quotes used for a more focused result: “2008” “financial crisis” “Bret Baier”. Now, on this date, even with “Brit Hume” added, only this version of that video appears. Note that the opening screens are by the party that saved this video for sharing, and that is followed by the original broadcast that speaks about Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the warnings that might have headed off or reduced the impact of the 2008 era financial meltdown.
This video example above is an apparent example of the Orwellian memory hole at work. What is inconvenient becomes censored by powerful big tech or social media platforms. As noted, videos posted just months ago may no longer be available as a review of numbers of MHProNews/MHLivingNews articles will reflect ‘video no longer available.’ What was once ‘YouTube’ is now more BigTechTube, where approved views can be shared, but unapproved views are removed, throttled, demonetized or otherwise limited/blocked.
Yes, propaganda and “psychological” “information warfare” are alive and well in America today. It is a global, not a merely national, phenomenon. Governments are attempting, and to some degree, are successful in this effort that is often a modern version of facism. “The classic definition of fascism is a situation in which Big Business and Big Government are formally united in their aims.” So said The Distributist Review on 12.16.2021, which elaborated: “Unlike communism, where the state owns industry, with fascism the state is independent from industry, but becomes its biggest customer. The aims of the two coalesce.”
Author Phillip Campbell in that article cited and linked above elaborated by saying: “We certainly do not have de jure fascism in the United States, but when we have so much collusion between the public and private spheres at every level of government, and in many cases the same individuals running things in both spheres, with identical aims, can it not be legitimately argued that what we have in the United States is a quasi-fascist system…”
“How do we change this climate?
We restore justice in the handling of corporate crimes.”
Campbell went on to observe that: “Too often petty criminals are given harsh sentences for stealing paltry amounts of money or possessing nominal quantities of drugs, while corporate criminals making out with billions of dollars (at the cost of thousands of jobs) frequently get away with minimal punishment. Stealing billions and driving the economy into the ground should be held criminally liable for their recklessness with prison terms at least as harsh as those meted out to small-time crooks.
We legally revisit the concept of limited liability.”
Without necessarily endorsing Campbell’s proposed solutions, those points he cited that are quoted above are easily evidenced in our industry and others.
MHProNews and our MHLivingNews sister site have made the case for some years that monopolists must be broken up, and where the law so provides, they should be prosecuted, fined, and imprisoned in accordance with our judicial system. This will not be easy, but it is doable. Who says? The 500 op-ed linked here, and the evidence of history shown in the reports below. Once powerful oligarchs here in the U.S. who had an illusion of honesty and even ‘geniuses’ where later determined to be nothing more than con artists who executed an elaborate scheme that were also hiding in plain sight for years.
Note that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but ideally opinions are based on independently demonstrable facts. We are living in an age where objective reality is in question. It becomes all the more important to establish facts meticulously and present that case to the public.
Because not everyone reads this deeply into a report, sometimes it is useful to sum up with a single image. The powers that be that oligarchs like Buffett, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and others of their ilk are savvy enough to know that people will not give up their rights, property, and opportunities if they are bluntly told the truth on the front end. Thus, the Big Lie must be created and maintained. Using the WEF, part of that “Big Lie” is the “Great Reset.” It pitches that “you will own nothing and you will be happy.” What nonsense. Isn’t it obvious who will own all the items that the masses in that scenario will be ‘renting’ from? Is Jeff Bezos building that massive luxury super yacht to give it away and later rent it back? Hardly. Other like examples could be made about the others.
Trump, as that black man in the MAGA hat in the video posted above aptly noted, is not a perfect man. Nor is the writer or the reader. God can and has raised up and inspired the imperfect to benefit God’s people. There are obvious reasons why Trump is hated by ‘the system’ or the “establishment” whatever phrase someone may want to use. It is obvious why he has been demonized. He threatens to expose and bring down their power and wealth. That doesn’t mean he’s an innocent lamb, and amazingly, he said as much in announcing his candidacy. Trump admitted he too used the system for his own benefit. Then, he went on to say that the system would not be changed by those who routinely use and benefit from it.
The good news is always the good news. But in a more secular sense, the good news is that Trump is inspiring a generation of leaders that are doing on the state, local, or federal levels the type of bold moves he has.
