MHCV values in general went down 1.60%. In the manufactured housing stocks we track, SKY was the leader with a 1.10% gain. Most of the other stocks we track had negatives.
Marketwatch tells MHProNews that U.S. stocks ended the week a bit lower, but managed to hold onto weekly gains. Crude oil staged a 7% weekly gain, although oil rig counts just reached a 5-year low.
Report on jobs released Friday by the Labor Department show that the unemployment rate rose from 5.6% to 5.7%. Yet some economists say this is good because the increase was due to a large increase in the number of people participating in the labor market, and thus shows that many people are re-entering the workforce.
