The Dow rose for the third straight day upon news of Microsoft buying Skype and positive corporate earnings reports, and most housing stocks gained as well. The Dow gained .60 percent to close at 12,760.36. In housing stocks, Palm Harbor gained 3.45 percent, Sun Communities was up 2.74 percent, Skyline Corporation moved up 2.54 percent, UMH was up 1.47 percent, MSCI gained .98 percent and Cavco was up .57 percent. The Manufactured Housing Composite closed up .85 percent to end the day at 1144.50. Nobility Homes was flat and Deer Valley lost 10 percent.
