The Dow ended the first six months of the year on an uptick, gaining 1.25 percent to close at 12,414.34, as several housing stocks ended the day strong. The Manufactured Housing Composite gained 1.89 percent to close at 1144.10. Skyline Corporation moved up 3.24 percent, Nobility Homes gained 2.83 percent, Palm Harbor Homes moved up 2.50 percent, Cavco Industries finished the day 1.35 percent up and Sun Communities gained .21 percent. Deer Valley lost 2.86 percent, MSCI fell .58 percent and ELS lost .51 percent.
