Corporate earnings and tech stocks helped push all three major indexes into the plus column again today as the Dow and S&P set new five-year highs. CNNMoney reports the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained +0.49%, 67.12 points, to end the day at 13,779.33. The Nasdaq moved up +0.33%, +10.49, to close at 3,153.67, while the S&P gained +0.15%, +2.25, to close at 1494.81. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite gained +1.83% percent to close at 1,351.9. Tracked housing stocks closed mixed, but Deer Valley gained +1.67%, +0.01 to close at 0.61. Skyline Corp. lost the most of tracked stocks, dropping -4.71%, -0.22, to end the day at 4.45. Affiliated Managers Group 143.18 +0.08 (+0.06%). Cavco Industries 51.59 +0.61 (+1.20%). Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 145,568 +763.00 (+0.53%).
