The Del Oro Water Co., which serves the Quail Trails Village Mobile Home Park in Paradise, California, in responding to resident’s complaints about the foul-smelling water, says that because of the water shortage, more chemicals are needed to treat the existing water.
But the company adds that it is bacteria and contaminate free and safe to drink.
Del Oro spokeswoman Tara Campbell says water samples are taken from the area daily, and the state water board oversees the testing.
Manufactured home residents say the water leaves a ring in the tub and laundry looking dirty, as chicoer informs MHProNews. Campbell understands residents are buying bottled water and urges them to send in a receipt for reimbursement. “We’re not legally required to do that, but we want to be as good to them as we can,” she said. ##
