FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(February 11, 2013 – Dublin, Ohio)
The Ohio Manufactured Homes Association (OMHA) rescheduled the Eastern Ohio Home Show to the May-June timeframe next year-2014, likely in Canton, Ohio in order to allow for appropriate planning and advertising given the increasing interest in the Show. OMHA is excited to appropriately plan for what promises to be a superb Show. So, plan for the Show Spring, 2014. MORE TO COME!
Even though a year away, OMHA has verbal commitments for as many as ten homes, along with a number of lenders, communities, and retailers for the Spring, 2014 Show. Interestingly, local businesses outside the manufactured/modular homes industry from oil/gas suppliers, health care systems, and tourism to federal, state and local government homeowner/lending programs have also expressed interest in participating as well as sponsorship. OMHA also plans MH homebuyer lending and education, as well as additional industry seminars.
OMHA is targeting a 100 mile radius in the Canton/New Philadelphia/Carroll County and surrounding counties for the first show. Ohio has already experienced MH and Modular home sales increases of 30% for 2012. OMHA expects significant home shipment increases in 2013 and beyond.
The Eastern Ohio Home Show planned next year will be the prototype for other Shows throughout Ohio benefitting from surges in manufacturing, home and commercial construction as well as retail, services, transportation, polymer, service, auto/truck, rental property (MH Communities) and other mid/downstream employment expansion.
Detailed Show exhibit, registration and sponsorship opportunities will be sent to
OMHA members later in 2013.
