The topic of enhanced preemption for manufactured homes was raised on the Brian Kilmeade show this morning.
The show had Senator Tim Scott (SC-R) has a guest, and a question from caller L. A. ‘Tony’ Kovach was taken following Scott’s discussion of opportunity zones.
Kovach, co-founder of MHProNews and MHLivingNews, spoke with Kilmeade about Secretary Carson’s support for manufactured homes. But Kovach said there has been a failure to implement the enhanced preemption provision of manufactured homes under the Manufactured Housing Improvement Act of 2000 (MHIA or 2000 Act) to reduce the barriers for placement of affordable manufactured homes.
MHProNews will seek a transcript of the call. Stay tuned for more on that in the days ahead.
