The second half of a modular home en route to its destination in Fairfield, Connecticut smashed into the North Benson railroad bridge after the driver received incorrect information about the Interstate exit. Escorted by a company car and a state police cruiser, the police tried to alert the driver the bridge was three feet too low, but it was too late, and the unit was destroyed beyond repair, according to fairfieldcitizenonline.com. Builder Robert Storms says he ordered the home from Excel Homes of Pennsylvania, and it was being delivered by RJF-Keiser Industries, LLC of Oxford, Maine. MHProNews reported here Dec. 9, 2013 Excel acquired Keiser Homes.
