From the Daytona Beach News Journal, MHPronews.com has learned that county plans to consider 1,000 or more manufactured homes alongside Old Dixie Highway north of city limits will be discussed at an upcoming end-of-year City Commission meeting. According to the report, the public will be allowed to comment about Volusia County’s consideration of a manufactured-home subdivision on an empty 1,033-acre site. A 2002 Development agreement calls for site-built housing.
