MHProNews has learned from napavalleyregister.com that Calistoga, California has received $500,000 from the federal HOME Investment Partnerships Program to assist low-income homeowners with needed repairs or reconstruction, offering up to $20,000 for owner- occupied manufactured homes. The housing rehabilitation loan program does not require loan payments or interest for 30 years unless the home is sold. The City of Napa Housing Authority is administering the program. The city manager can authorize up to an additional $10,000 for manufactured homes providing the repairs contribute to the health and safety of the occupants. #
