Central Site Accommodation managing director Mike Walsh said: “Until now, offsite manufacturing housing in the UK has been delivered to site for brick walls to be then built around the modules once they have been put into place.”
He says the company’s new manufacturing method is comparably priced as on-site construction, but, instead of wood, it is made of galvanized steel which has a 200 year life span. Additionally, on site assembly is finished within hours, not weeks or months like on site construction, and neither weather delays nor labor shortages will affect the construction nor the installation. ##
