Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity will be hosting a modular home building project at the Jersey Shore Festival in Seaside Heights, New Jersey and is urging visitors to help build the home. The 1,000 square foot house, being built with support from Coastal Modular Group, Woodhaven Lumber, Motor Media USA and the Rebuild It Foundation, will be sited on land donated by the township, according to asburyparkpress.
Susan Fitchener, Executive Director of Northern Ocean Habitat says the organization will be fundraising during the build, which will take place over the weekend of May 15-17, and will then choose a family to live in the home. MHProNews understands Habitat requires the chosen family to be involved in the construction of the three bedroom, one bath home. This is the fourth Habitat for Humanity house in the township. ##
