Due to the generosity of Fairmont Homes of Nappanee, Indiana the RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum now has a modern manufactured home to display along with all the other exhibits and historical information, according to a press release from the museum. Darryl Searer, president of the RV/MH said Fairmont responded to a request for a new home, and will erect the home and pay the electric bill for the length of the display. Style Crest donated the air conditioning unit and a number of state associations paid for the site preparation. “Our goal is to present visitors to the Hall of Fame and Museum a complete and accurate history of both the RV and Manufactured Housing Industries. While we have many early examples of our industries’ products, we believe our story would be incomplete without showing visitors examples of where we are today.” Fairmont Homes’ General Manager Brian Cira said, “Fairmont is proud of the industry and happy to support the Hall of Fame in promoting the incredible housing value we offer today’s homebuyers.” As MHProNews knows the museum is located in Elkhart, IN.
