All three indexes gained one percent or better today as investors did not receive negative news from Europe, and hopes abound that China will support its economy. CNNMoney tells us the Dow Jones Industrial Average moved up 1.01 percent, 125.86 points, to close at 12,580.69. The Nasdaq gained 1.18 percent to 2,870.99, while the S&P gained +1.11 percent, to 1,332.42. Meanwhile, the Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite moved up +2.42 percent to close at 1011.1. Louisiana Pacific Corp. gained the most of stocks we follow, adding +4.38%, +0.42, to close at 10.00. All housing stocks we track closed up except Skyline Corp. which lost -1.35%, -0.07, to end the trading day at 5.13. Affiliated Managers Group 107.18 +3.71(+3.59%). Cavco 44.89 + 1.43 (+3.29%). Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 120,133 +633.00 (+0.53%).
