MHI reports shipments of single-section homes rose by 28.8 percent over the same month last year, and multi-section home shipments increased by 4.1 percent. Total floors shipped in January 2015 equaled 7,567, a 10.8 percent rise over the same month in 2014.
The seasonally adjusted annual rate (SAAR) of shipments equaled 70,837 in January 2015, a drop of 0.7 percent from the adjusted rate of 71,347 the previous month. 121 plants reported production from 38 active corporations in January 2015, a decrease from December 2014. ##
