Washington, D.C., July 6, 2015 – The Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR) reports that according to official statistics compiled on behalf of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), manufactured housing industry production grew at a modest pace in May 2015. Just-released statistics indicate that HUD Code manufacturers produced 5,798 homes in May 2015, a 1.1 % increase over the 5,733 HUD Code homes produced during May 2014. Cumulative industry production for 2015 now totals 27,257 homes, an 8.8 % increase over the 25,051 HUD Code homes produced over the same period in 2014.[1]
