In an urgent action alert, Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) Chairman Nathan Smith says the Senate Banking Committee is set to take up housing finance reform on Tue., April 29, and Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia is expected to offer two amendments that would attach the provisions of the Preserving Access to Manufactured Housing Act to the bill. Smith implores members to contact their senators and urge them to support these amendments.
