Washington, D.C., November 3, 2014 – The Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR) reports that according to official statistics compiled on behalf of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), manufactured housing industry production growth continued during September 2014. Just-released statistics indicate that HUD Code manufacturers produced 5,862 homes in September 2014, a 6.9% increase over the 5,483 HUD Code homes produced during September 2013. Cumulative industry production for 2014 now totals 48,167 homes, a 6.3% increase over the 45,295 HUD Code homes produced through September 2013.
