MHPronews has learned from wmtw in Oxford, Maine that modular builder Keiser Homes is abruptly closing, ending work for 120 employees. Officials laid off 60 employees in April and said they would return by mid-May, but that was not to be.

According to Julie Rabinowitz of the Department of Labor, Keiser’s parent company, Innovative Building Systems (IBS), is filing for bankruptcy. ##
