It’s natural. International soccer – what much of the world calls in their native language ‘football’ – reflects hometown and national pride. It’s like having pride in your high school, college, university, city, state, or our nation.
Patriotism evokes loyalty and pride in one’s country. It’s natural.
Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” is a naturally patriotic song. We worked in some clips of manufactured housing into this version of the video. Can you spot them?
Every rally held this year by President Donald J. Trump included the Lee Greenwood song above. The crowd at various times chants, “USA! USA! USA!” It’s natural. Pride in our nation is returning. Its one of many reasons people stand for hours to spend about 75 minutes with their president.
But there are those who strive to undermine that national pride. They do so with slogans of their own. But one set of slogans is uplifting, and the other set are objectively trying to tear someone else or something else down. Why? What’s their agenda?
Surprising Words from Kris Kobach
At every Trump MAGA – Make America Great Again – Rally, candidates from that area are routinely invited to speak. Last night, it was Republican nominee for governor Kris Kobach who addressed on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 spoke at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka.
Listen carefully to Kobach’s bullets on immigration. Odds are excellent that you’ll hear something you’ve not heard in a long time, or maybe ever. It is one of several reasons why immigration reform is just common sense.
The president is not a classic Republican of the last 25 years. He brings in elements of Democratic, Republican, patriotic, and economic nationalism. He workers, ethnic, hometown, faith, and national pride together. He makes coal miners, steel workers, military, police, ICE and others proud of their work. As they and all other professionals should be proud of a job well done.
A robust economy, with limited common-sense regulations, and the lowest possible taxes are part of the recipe for American resurgence. Laws that are properly enforced, courts that work as the Constitution’s creators planned, a level playing field between conglomerates and the small business person. They are all important to how our industry can recapture its own glory.
It is less than a month to the midterms. You are here to check out the stories from the week that was, and its been a busy, busy week indeed. More at the end, with no further adieu, thank you for checking in.
