A few days ago, a homeless woman in the Chicago area, came to believe that there really is a Santa Claus.
Jeff Fannon, says WGN TV, is the CEO of Chicago-based Zeman Homes. But in fact the company confirmed that he is the COO of the operation. Dee Pizer is the CEO.
The plight of the woman was made known when a local television station, WGN-TV featu
red a story about how Linda Anderson and her boyfriend, Steve, were camping out in a city park in a tent.
It was Dee Pizer who launched the effort to aid the homeless woman featured in the WGN TV report. Dee was out of the office on personal matters. So when the TV interview was filmed, COO Fannon stepped in to speak to the WGN camera crew.
The full heat-warming Christmas feature was published in MHLivingNews, and can be found at the link here. As the Zeman team told MHProNews, what was important was helping this homeless person. The ‘credit’ for who did what, when and how was not on their firm’s mind.
This is a fine example of the type of holiday good will that can benefit the manufactured home industry. ##
