Jim Pakulis, CEO of SearchCore, the parent company of manufactured housing retailer Wisdom Homes of America, announced today what one industry commentator called a “bold growth” vision..
Globewire carried Pakulis’ open letter, which says that after they spun-off the technology sides of their operations earlier this year, they made the commitment to enter into an grow manufactured housing retail results.
Wholly owned subsidiary Wisdom Homes opened three retail centers in Tyler, Jacksboro and Rhome, Texas.
Brent Nelms, a 32 year industry veteran, who they state has managed the sale of $100 million dollars of factory built homes, heads up the day-to-day side of the firm’s retailing operations.
Pakulis informs MHProNews that, “Our goal is straightforward: we intend to become the largest independent manufactured home retailer in the industry by opening 30 retail stores by 2019. We expect that within nine months of opening, each retail store will sell, on average, 4 manufactured homes per month. The average sales price per home is approximately $70,000. Therefore, each store is anticipated to generate $3.36 million in annual revenue.”
Pakulis pointed to the quality of manufactured homes rivaling site built, better pricing, improving economy and other factors – including their management team and ability to tap more seasoned pros – as factors why the believe they can make their projections a reality.
