“Sometimes the Perfect is the Enemy of the Good.” – Gilbert Keith (G.K.) Chesterton. That could have been a useful tag line for Donald J. Trump and the Republicans in this election cycle. In a world of imperfect humans there are no perfect candidates. That said, a host of last minute and recent endorsements, early voting, and a raft of polling indicates that Trump and the Republicans are well poised to win today. But that is true only if the momentum that is already established is carried out by those who didn’t vote early vote in massive numbers today. That means if you or someone you know hasn’t yet voted this is a day to encourage your friends, associates, and family (FAF) to go vote Kamala Harris (D) and her Democratic House and Senate allies out and vote Republicans in. As Trump said, “Kamala Broke It, I Will Fix It.”
There are podcasters who have bigger audiences by far than mainstream cable or legacy news networks. That doesn’t mean that so-called “mainstream” news doesn’t have influence, it does. But there are now numerous parallel information sources. That helps balance out the information dominance that much of mainstream media and big tech bestow on behalf of the donor class and their Democratic politicians.

It has been reported that in the last 2 days of the campaign, Kamala Harris (D) stopped personally referring to Trump has a new Hitler, a new Nazi, and similar slurs. Apparently, that wasn’t working. There are also reports that internal polls for Kamala and numbers of Congressional Democrats in battleground districts have shown problems for their campaigns. Furthermore, early voting indicators show Trump and Republicans are well poised to win. But it always, always comes down to turnout on election day.
The tiny town of Dixville Notch, New Hampshire has a tradition of midnight voting.

New Hampshire is rated as leaning toward Harris and Democrats by pollsters. But Dixville Notch, NH, split their vote. In 2016, Hillary Clinton (D) won. in 2020, they went for Joe Biden (D).

But it isn’t about just turning out to vote in battleground states, or in states where Trump might win. There are congressional races in all 50 states. Every member of the U.S. House is up for re-election, and 1/3 of the U.S. Senate is up for reelection too. While there are obviously sources on both sides of the issues, there are reasons to think that Republicans could pick up seats in the House and Senate.
Katie Gorka is the chairwoman of the Fairfax, VA Republican Party. Katie Gorka told WMAL’s O’Connor & Company this morning that for Kamala Harris’ rallies yesterday compared to Trump rallies, live viewers for Trump outnumbered Harris viewers by about 20 to 1.

What the three data points above reflect, per various experts, is that Kamala Harris is trailing Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton’s performance by several points. If the early voting trend holds, some believe Trump/Republicans could beat Harris in the popular vote as well as the Electoral College.
But it all comes down to those who haven’t yet voted to show up and vote. You and/or your FAFs should grab your go-bag of food bars, water, soda, or whatever your preferred hydration is, and get in line to vote. We at MHProNews voted early. Our sample ballot is shown below.
This writer for MHProNews invested over 2 months doing a pre-election series as a contributor for the Patch. But we have been doing 2024 election cycle reports since RFK Jr. announced his candidacy as a Democrat in April of 2023.
We covered the shenanigans claimed by Kennedy when he said that Democratic Party insiders hobbled his nomination efforts in a manner similar to what former DNC chair Donna Brazile said her party sabotaged Senator Bernie Sanders (VT-Democratic Socialist) in the 2016 cycle.
MHProNews said in the 2020 contest that Biden was not a moderate. That there were clear indicators that he would be far left. That turned out to be correct. Note that reports like these have often been popular reads on MHProNews. Inquiring minds want to know, as the expression goes.
On a range of issues, Kamala Harris’ and Joe Biden’s notion of leadership on behalf of the much of the: donor class, big corporate, big media, and big tech is about stacking the deck in favor of the wealthy vs. the interests of the working class, middle class, and retirees. MHProNews has documented that from left and right leaning sources.
If enough people show up to vote Trump and Republicans, it will be “too big to rig.”
Need more reasons? Click the report above which has links to dozens of other 2024 election related articles on the Patch. But for MHVille pros, it should also be easy. We know how Harris and Biden have treated manufactured housing, namely, with lip service. Enforcing manufactured housing favorable laws is a bit like enforcing (or not) the U.S. border. For law and order, vote Trump and the GOP. Sometimes the perfect is the enemy of the good. Trump and Republicans aren’t perfect. But they are clearly better than the alternative. When 79 percent of the nation feels the country is on the wrong track the commonsense thing to do is to vote those who put those policies in place out of office. Vote and then pray. Have your friends, associates, and family do the same. ##
