From Kentucky Wave3.com reports that despite its recent closing, a Louisville mobile home park remains a major eyesore for south end residents. Louisville Regency closed in July of 2009 but city officials say the owner has failed to meet several deadlines to clean up the property. The homes are now gone, but the report indicates piles of debris, garbage, a boat, tires and other items litter the site. Metro Code Enforcement Supervisor Dennis Martin told the reporter he has made repeated attempts to contact the Colorado-based owner without success and is giving him a final notice that he will face a $700 fine if the property isn’t cleaned up within 15 days.
