There are people of good will in a wide variety of organizations, political movement, faiths, genders, and any other subset that one cares to name. In an era of ‘divide and conquer, ‘ or ‘polarize and manipulate,’ it is useful to keep in mind that many across the spectrum have good intentions.
That said, the maxim that the road to hell is paved with good intentions must be kept in mind too.
Realty is at times more bizarre than fiction. Indeed, several movies ‘based upon a true story’ make that very point.
On MHProNews as well as our general public-facing sister site, we have long had a simple goal. To help move the industry towards its great potential. Thousands of industry professionals, significant numbers of investors, and millions of homeowners already have a grasp of what that potential is.
Sam Zell said on stage that they have never lost confidence in manufactured housing. Warren Buffett has made the point that he doesn’t want Berkshire Hathaway to be involved in an industry that is difficult to understand. The both see manufactured homes as the future, which is logically why they and others keep consolidating parts of the industry.

There is a saying that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If so, then imitators like MHInsider, MHReview, or others less known ought to be seen at least in part through that lens. There have been some publications that have come and gone since we launched this in the dark days of mid-October 2009.
Here alone in MHVille trade media are the fact checks, investigative reports, follow the money, and efforts to span the various divisions addressed in a straight forward fashion. There will be new reports tomorrow and next week, some will be on topics and news you won’t find anywhere else in manufactured housing.
Affordable housing is the future, not only the past or present. That means for some time to come the war over manufactured housing’s domination or liberation will be a hot item found here.
Numerous items were covered last week, more lie ahead. With no further adieu, let’s look at the week that was from September 29 to October 6, 2019. God Bless America, and God save manufactured housing.
